Toxic femininity as a result of patriarchy
in Montenegro

Illustration on the theme of how in Montenegro, women brought up in a heavy patriarchal setting sadly can often adopt severely rigid views on gender roles and even internalise misogyny, leading to them trying to push those views on other women who don’t share the same sentiment and live a life of their own choosing. Fortunately, the situation is improving with the new generations as the society advances.
